The ground rules for working with GETT and using this site. Plain language where we can, precise language where we must.
1. Who we are
GETT is the trading name of Gett Telecommunications, a Kenyan company with its registered address at P.O. Box 9246–30100, Eldoret, Kenya. We work across Nairobi and Eldoret. You can reach us at info@gett.africa or +254 712 619 962.
2. Agreement
By using this site or engaging GETT for work, you agree to these terms. If you accept them on behalf of a company, you’re confirming you’re allowed to. Where a signed proposal or contract covers a specific project, that document takes precedence wherever it differs from what’s here.
3. Our services
We provide IT consulting, hardware sourcing and repair, networking, software development, security, and cloud services. The pages on this site describe what we do in general terms. The exact scope, price, and timeline for your work live in the proposal we agree with you.
4. Quotes and payment
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise. For most work we ask for a deposit before we start and the balance on delivery; larger projects are billed in stages. Assessment or diagnostic fees are charged as quoted and are separate from any repair that follows. Invoices are due within the period stated on them.
5. Warranties
Repairs carry a warranty against the same fault recurring, for the period stated on your assessment report. That warranty doesn’t cover new or unrelated faults, accidental damage, or work later opened up or altered by someone else. Hardware we source for you carries the manufacturer’s warranty, and we’ll help you make a claim on it.
6. Liability
We take care with your equipment and data, and we back things up before risky work wherever we can. Even so, we can’t be liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or data you haven’t kept a copy of elsewhere. Our total liability for any piece of work is limited to what you paid us for it. Nothing here limits liability the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any dispute is handled by the Kenyan courts. We’d always rather sort things out with a conversation first.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with the date it last changed shown at the top. Carrying on using the site or our services after a change means you accept the update.
